THE TRAIL OF BEAUTY An Artist Walks THE TRAIL OF BEAUTY Paul D. Hammersten's memoir " glows with affirmation in words and pictures, celebration of natural beauty of remote mountains, lakes, and rivers; grateful tributes to human courage and enduring loyalties among friends; humble praise of creature strength and grace".
			ALONG THE TRAIL Paul's art began under the tutelage of his friend, Frederick Dale Seminole,in 1970 in Lame Deer, Montana on the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation. Paul continues on the "trail of beauty" in the eastern far North, paddling the remote waterways once explored by the legendary Voyageurs.
